The Spirit of Grace
By Grace are we saved. Grace is the Gift of God. But what does it really mean, .. to live by Grace? … to be saved by Grace?... to have the Spirit of Grace? Is Grace unconditional? Seems that almost everyone thinks this is the answer. But I will prove in this message that Grace is NOT UNCONDITIONAL. It is VERY very important that you learn this great truth.
Many think that they are alright, on the way to heaven and have nothing to be concerned about. But I will show you that this attitude is false and dangerous to your soul. There are countless people who think that just because they said I believe in Jesus that they are saved for eternity and nothing will cause them to be lost. This is a very false belief. Lying preachers have convinced the world that they have not one thing to worry about if they just believe. Well that lying preacher will land you into hell; he is the gate to hell.
Probably most who read this far have already stopped. But so be it. If you care no more for your soul’s salvation than that, so be it to you.
The very fact that you have not studied the Word of God enough to also know what I am about to show you proves that you are under a strong delusion. The most important Book in all existence is the pure Word of God and yet you ignore it. You take some lying preacher’s word for everything so you have no obligation to study the Word for yourself. Proves you have not known the true God.
People think that all that is necessary for salvation is that God gives you HIS grace. But this is not true. Sure, God must first give you HIS Grace…. But then you MUST ALSO GIVE OTHERS YOUR GRACE. Now for the proof:
Mat. 18: 18 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
The disciples of Jesus had this dispute a few times. Jesus rebuked it each time. Why? You must love your neighbor as yourself. When you desire to be above another that is not love and it is not Grace. Jesus said ye must be converted and become as little children to enter into the kingdom of heaven.
21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?
22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.
The above verses show what Grace is… be willing to forgive other people their sins against you limitless times. ‘If you forgive not from the HEART every trespass against you God will not forgive you your trespasses’.
Now for the Scripture that nails down this principle that God will TAKE BACK HIS GRACE IF YOU DO NOT ALSO GIVE YOUR GRACE TO THOSE WHO DID YOU WRONG:
STUDY Mat. 18 until you see this clearly IF YOU VALUE ETERNAL LIFE
23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants. [This is the time of judgment.]
24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents. [This means that the servant had not repented of many sins and had not put to use the gifts that God has given to him.]
25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.,,, [Here God was saying let this man pay for his own sins because he had not repented and then lived right.]
26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all…. [Here the man is trying to repent and ask for forgiveness.]
27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.
28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.
29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.
30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt. … [Here the man is refusing to give grace or forgiveness for this person’s debt to him. He is showing no grace to this debtor. ]
31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.
32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:
33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?
34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.
35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses. ..[Now you either must call Jesus a lie or admit that this is showing that if you do not give grace or forgiveness to others God will take back the grace that He has already given to you.]
Now this clearly proves that God will take back his forgiveness to you for your sins if you do not also forgive others who sin against you. You must also give Grace to others if you expect God to give you His Grace. Do you really have the Spirit of Grace? Examine your own self and see if you are in the faith. This is how you do it. Be honest with yourself… Do you wish to be above others? Do you wish for your family to be special above others? Do you not forgive others as God forgave you? Do you consider yourself to be so above someone else that you refuse to speak to them or be nice to them? If any of these things are in your life, repent and turn from your own pride. God resists the proud but gives Grace to the humble. Your pride will keep you from having the Grace of God.
Mat. 5: 38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: …[This is the way of LAW; WHAT YOU do to me I will do to you. Revenge! No forgiveness! No Grace. That is law. ]
39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
40 And if any man will sue thee at the law, and take away thy coat, let him have thy cloak also.
41 And whosoever shall compel thee to go a mile, go with him twain.
42 Give to him that asketh thee, and from him that would borrow of thee turn not thou away.
43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. .[This is teaching us how to live by Grace. Unless you do these things you do not have the Spirit of Grace, so God will not give you His Grace.]
46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? …[Those who will snob someone whom they feel is beneath them will not have Grace. There is no reward to those with this ‘holier than thou attitude’.
47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? …[This proves that if you will only speak to your friends you will not have Grace.]
48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
If you are willing to steal from someone you are not in grace because you are not loving your neighbor as yourself. If you speak lies against a person you are also not in grace; you are not loving that person or giving him grace. This same principle applies to all areas of life. Love everyone enough to do them no harm. Go thy way, follow Jesus, do as he did and be thou perfect as your Father in Heaven is perfect. Lying preachers taught us that this is not possible. Seems he never read the word he pretends to be teaching…. For hire.
Live by Grace or die eternally!
