I love it when God's children show interest in the Word of God. by request, again, I will now explain another beautiful chapter...Psalm 7.
1 O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust : save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: 2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces , while there is none to deliver .
The greatest pity in this world, is that people miss the glory and truth of God's word, by thinking it is about someone OTHER THAN JESUS. psalm,as all other scripture, is about Jesus; not David or others.
also, their error, that Jesus is God, causes them to be utterly blind to this true interpretation of Scripture.
so.... verse 1, is Jesus, praying to his GOD, THE FATHER.
He says, I trust in you. save me from those who persecute me. It reaches out to the time of crucifixion, when God forsakes Jesus, and there is none to deliver him. But up till then, No one could touch Jesus, for God protected him. But at the time of his death, he was cast out as THE WORLDS GREATEST SINNER FOR THE SINS OF THE WORLD HAD BEEN PLACED ON JESUS. HE DIED WITHOUT GOD.
AND PITY, so few realize this. It is far greater than thinking he was god. Let the truth FINALLY COME OUT.

O LORD my God, if I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands; 4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy  5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.

Here Jesus is presenting his 'cause' to God....he said, If I have done these evils, then let the enemy take me and tread down my life....see, Jesus knew he had not sinned....yet he is now counted as a sinner....and God turns from him and allows the wicked to murder Jesus. He honour was taken away as he was mocked hanging on that cross. The above prayer looks to that.

6 Arise , O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself because of the rage of mine enemies : and awake for me to the judgment that thou hast commanded ......here the prayer goes out to the time of resurrection.....when God shows his anger to those who murdered Jesus.......and Jesus asks God to awake, (his resurrection),.. for this was the judgment of God, for him to be killed and then raised again....and now for God to let his anger come against his enemies. It was a command of God for all of this to be done

7 So shall the congregation of the people compass thee about : for their sakes therefore return thou on high.>>>>>> this is beautiful.... God is telling Jesus that now the people will compass him....then he calls Jesus to come up on high. for our sakes.....so we can now receive salvation.....nothing but pure BEAUTY.

8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.>>>>only Jesus could rightly pray the above.....only Jesus could say, judge me according to my righteousness and integrity... years ago I heard a preacher use this and say it was David. what a shame; they miss all the glory about Jesus, thinking he is the 'god' here, and david is the man. Not so. I did not know any better then, but it still struck me as wrong.

9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end ; but establish the just: for the righteous God trieth the hearts and reins. >>>>>> this is beautiful....part of the prayer of Jesus to God, just before his crucifixion.....let the wickedness come to en end. It will come; hasten this glad day.

10 My defence is of God, which saveth the upright in heart. 11 God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day. 12 If he turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready . 13 He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordaineth his arrows against the persecutors . 14 Behold, he travaileth with iniquity, and hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood. 15 He made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made . 16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own pate.>>>>>>>> The above verse show the end of the wicked.....God will save the upright in heart.....but he will destroy the wicked. ... the rest of this passage shows the end of the wicked,,,,, and looks pacifically at Adam and Judas.

this last verse is Jesus praising God, after the wicked are destroyed........17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.
