John 1: 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph. This is the first revelation people had of Jesus...who he was in the flesh. There are many verses in Scripture proving that Jesus was a human man, born of Mary, but also having an earthly father, Joseph. The people in the day when Jesus lived on this earth knew this fact. They had no delusions of a god in human flesh. Nathanael had received the revelation of Jesus, as being the prophet which Moses had told them would come. Peter and Paul also taught this level of understanding...that Jesus was of the seed of David according to the flesh. Joseph was the son of David of which the Holy Ghost took the seed to bring forth this son of David. This human man was to be the sin sacrifice to save humanity from our sins and give us the hope of eternal life. 2. Matt. 16: 13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am? (see that Jesus was speaking of him as a son of man, here. It is of who he is in the flesh; this is the outer man.) 14 And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets. 15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. (see that Peter here spoke of the second level, of Jesus as the son of God; this is the inner man) . 17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (The Father reveals this level of revelation; not the human knowledge.) Here Peter has gone further than understanding the humanity of Jesus. God has now revealed to Peter that Jesus was the Christ, or the Son of the living God. This is not speaking of Jesus in the flesh. It is speaking of the inner Christ which is given to all who will eventually come out of the grave, into glorification, or the new birth. This Christ includes any and all who will be BORN AGAIN, by coming forth in the resurrection of those who are born into the image of God. Jesus was the very first human person to accomplish this. Peter was speaking of the inner son of God, that now resided inside the man, Jesus. It is not another person, but a new Jesus, which has been given the Holy Ghost to produce this new creature of God, a born-again son of God. Can't you see that many people said that Jesus was the son of David? ...son of Abraham? ...son of Joseph?... coming from Jessie, father of David? How can you miss this when it is recorded so many times in Scripture? Then don't you see that Peter was now speaking of 'another' son...the son of God? Yet it is all in the same man? It is the very same way with us... I am a human person, born of my parents; Yet inside me is a child of God which was conceived in me by Jesus Christ? How can the entire church world miss this so obvious truth? Luke 24: 18 And the one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said unto him, Art thou only a stranger in Jerusalem, and hast not known the things which are come to pass there in these days? 19 And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people: 20 And how the chief priests and our rulers delivered him to be condemned to death, and have crucified him. 21 But we trusted that it had been he which should have redeemed Israel: and beside all this, to day is the third day since these things were done. (Here we find that these men, who had been with Jesus before he died, still have no revelation of anything beyond his earthly life or existence. They see him as the prophet that Moses spoke of and how they had hoped he would deliver Israel, but it is natural deliverance they looked for.) Luke 24: 37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit. 38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Here Jesus shows them that he is still the man they knew him as...still not a spirit. He had not at this time ascended to heaven to be glorified as our Lord and our God. They had no knowledge of such a thing, at this time. Jesus is NEVER revealed to be a spirit. 3. John 20: 24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. 27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing. 28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. 29 Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed. Much is said of 'doubting Thomas', but few ever see this: Thomas is the very first one to receive the third level of revelation of Jesus...that he is now our Lord and our God, to be worshiped as God. But this has caused many to believe a lie that Jesus was God. There is a big difference in actually being GOD, and being set up by God, to be worshiped as our personal Lord and God. See, people add man's lies to the Word of God, when they read and therefore never see the real truth of the Word. Thomas did not say, Jesus you are God. Peter or Paul, nor anyone else in any Scripture ever said this. Thomas was shown that after the resurrection of Jesus, and because God has now given all power and authority to Jesus, and set Jesus to be on the throne of God, that now Jesus is to be worshiped as our Lord and our God. It does NOT mean that the man, Jesus, was or is God. Heb 1: 5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. See that the above agrees with Romans 1:3, and Acts 13, that the day God beget this son, in his image is the day he raised Jesus from the dead. Here is more proof: Rev 1: 5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, The FIRST BEGOTTEN of the DEAD. Jesus was the very first human person to be raised from the dead, into glorification or the image of God. He was the very first human being to be BORN AGAIN. Born from the dead. There are several verses which prove this. Yet the world has missed this truth. Can anyone sensibly claim that God had to be born again? that God had to die and be resurrected? That God had to be born from a woman? That man could kill God on a cross? That God had to be given the power of God, by God? It is the most foolish doctrine in this world, yet everyone believes this lie. Even now, in heaven, Jesus is still called a MAN. He was raised from the dead, and set on the throne of God. He was given the power of God, to rule as God, until the time he has conquered all enemies, then He will deliver the kingdom back up to God, 1Cor 15. If you would study the Word of God all of this would come clear to you. Stop trying to fit the word of God into your church's lies and let the Word show you God's truth. Rev 1: 6 And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen. See, that at some time God hath made us kings and priests unto God. Yet that does not change the fact that we are nothing but earthly humans. Yet, we are changed into something much more glorious. It is the very same way with Jesus Christ. First: the earthly Jesus, a human man, from the seed of a man, Joseph a son of David. Second: Christ, the anointed of God, the one with the Holy Ghost in him. Third: Then the glorified Son of God, in the image of God, now no more to die, but made like unto the heavenly beings. Thank God for such glorious revelation. By: Jo Smith... Feb. 13, 2016 |
