3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the dragons of the wilderness.

4 Whereas Edom saith, We are impoverished, but we will return and build the desolate places; thus saith the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people against whom the LORD hath indignation for ever.

God hated Esau or Edom. God laid HIS mountains and his heritage WASTE.
remember Abraham was looking for a city made by God; not by man.
in verse 4, EDOM OR ESAU, said, WE, (Esau), will RETURN and build the DESOLATE PLACES.

So, who returned to that old city, which Jesus, (not some lying man, but Jesus), said, to old jerusalem, YOUR HOUSE OR LAND IS LEFT....DESOLATE.

No wonder it is all wild war, mess, and deception to this world, and NO PEACE. It is not God's israel.

Paul clearly said they of the flesh are not the children of God, but the FAITH SEED, which came through isaac and Jacob, into Jesus Christ, then to the true children of FAITH.
We are the true Israel of God, or the New Jerusalem.

It is not one of these worldly, evil earthly cities. It is not THOSE OF ESAU, WHO RETURNED AND SET BACK UP THAT DESOLATE OLD CITY OF JERUSALEM.
